Hedia ApS is a Digital Health start-up and developer of a Danish produced, CE-approved app, which assists people with diabetes with calculating carbohydrates in their meals, provide recommendations for insulin dosages, track blood sugar and many more functions. Hedia has and continues to aid thousands of users achieve an easier everyday life with diabetes every year.
Hedia was established in 2016 by entrepreneur Peter Lucas and his two co-founders, Andreas and Christina. Peter is diagnosed with type 1 diabetes himself and sees this as an advantage, as he knows exactly what functions the app needs to provide and how to set it apart from other diabetes apps on the market.
Hedia has already gotten a firm grip on the market and has had Ricki Boye as their permanent attorney and trusted advisor for the past few years. Ricki has assisted with everything from raising capital, drafting incentive programmes, reviewing and advising on IT-contracts and general legal advice over the years.
